Koen Janssens
Born and raised in Turnhout, Belgium. Koen was brought up on food and wine from early age. His grandpa (home grown gardener, breeder of rabbits, worker on fruit orchards) and his mother had a keen taste for honest food and wine
Koen started working in Michelin starred restaurants after graduating in 2005 at Hotelschool Koksijde (hospo high school).
This hospo journey took him to Australia in 2012, where he met winemakers that give him a lasting impression. Working vintages with Jauma wines, Lucy Margaux and Spinifex Wines. Koen started Bink wines in 2017.
